AOS Interview
My wife and I got approved last wednesday (June 20, 2007) for our AOS. I am a tourist B1/B2 visa holder and my wife is a US citizen. Literally the interview lasted about 10 mins. She didn't even look at our pictures, just emails and joint accounts...That's it. I brought a whole box full of memories and docs, the officer did'nt even bother looking at it. We had no lawyer, I just studied immigration myself, books by NOLO is good. My EAD and Travel Parole has'nt even arrived yet! My advice is don't worry, if the relationship is real then no problem. The internet is just making it seem like its doomsday, its not. I was so worried too because for 2.5 months all I did was research books and the net, its not as bad as it feels, just be sweet during the interview. I wish everyone luck and don't waste uber of money for help if yours is normal filing. I wasted money applying for the work permit thing and parole, I got approved even before they mail it. They just got my money.
