Thanks for sharing all the experiences.. It was very useful to go through them and understand what to expect with the new process. Below is my experience..

OFC on 5th Nov - Our appointment was at 10:30 AM. It is possible to get car parking within walkable distance. They allow mobiles inside (should be in switched off mode). We reached there by 9:30 and had to stand outside until 10:10 AM. They allowed people inside after that. Since we had a kid, we were allowed first inside. We got a token and there were multiple counters. Then people will be allowed in the order. Fingerprint itself takes only a few minutes. They ask your full name and DOB just for verification. That's it!

Visa appointment on 6th Nov - Our appointment was at 10:00AM. We reached there around 9:20AM. Only some 5 people were in the queue. Even if you take some things which are not allowed, you can drop them outside for a fee (not sure about the amount). Lot of people were using that. Security check went smooth. They give a token once we enter the building. Then we had to stand at two counters outside. At first one they ask for passport, DS160 and appointment confirmation. They made is a small bundle with a rubber band. They also asked for petition. In the second counter, they scan the appointment confirmation letter and ask to keep the finger prints. Then we headed to the other building. Everything is based on the same token number. We went inside and our token came up right away! There were other people sitting in the chairs though. Not sure how we got it so quick. We were in front of the VO. He asked which client are you working at YYYY state. Answered. Asked how much I am being paid.. Answered. He looked at my kid and asked if she is an American citizen (she is). Then he said our visa is approved. It was so quick! Everything inside the consulate was complete within 20 to 25 minutes..

Thanks for sharing all your experiences.. Ours went very smooth and quick..
