Naturalization Process
I applied for citizenship on July 6, 2011;
Biometrics done on August 20, 2011;
Interview on September 20, 2011; and
took the Oath and received my Certificate of Naturalization on November 17, 2011.
I registered to vote right after the ceremony and applied for a US passport the next day.

I have been very impressed with the expediency of the entire process and the courtesy of the staff members and employee at the Office of Homeland Security here in the Kansas City office. Total time from beginning to end took just over 4 months.

One thing I did notice is that some of the applicants who had take the trouble to fill out all the paperwork, go to the interview etc. were 10 to 15 minutes late for the Oath Ceremony.

All in all this was a very good experience for me.

Good Luck to others who are still going through the process.
