On Indian Gov website, Documents Printing Status shows PROCESSED on Jun16th 2014. First step almost done.
After 2 consecutive visits to BLS NY Office, application was finally tracked and receipt handed over in person. They will send to consulate tomorrow 04/25 (but sent it a day later after the weekend on 04/28)
On Apr 8th I went to BLS NY Office and checked status in person. They are backlogged and processing applications as of March 11th.
This is terribly slow and defeats the purpose of postal application. For them to get to 03/31 will take another 15 days or April 23rd.
