My wife and I went for our interview on Feb 8 2010 and the officer stated I was missing an I325 i believe geographical, I had 1 month to send it in he continued our case. I sent it in within 1 week, got a signature that they received it. We have never gotten a denial letter in the mail or anything else in the mail. How long can or will this take to go back for the second interview and what will the second interview be like, I hope not like the first one, It was like interrogation, he was very rude to my wife and I, and I couldn't say anything about it, made me very upset. Please help...

i want to share my experience to give back something to this site in which it helps me a lot in the preparation of my documents for my adjustment of status interview last feb 13,2010 and we are very fortunate because the officer that handle our case is so nice, and very professional in asking a questions. In my case, i think important docs to prepare to present during interview are: lease contract(both names are in the contract),utility bills(both names are also in the bill-eg,cable,electric,gas),joint bank account and statement, pictures(wedding, party with friends or relatives, dating), we also have car and medical insurance but he doesnt care about it.He asked few questions and after that he asked us to tell our love story(how it started, how we meet and why we decided to get married and what our future plans) and after that he look to our file to verify the information we put in.(name, birthdate, name of parents and address in the U.S.).and he get also some copy of our pictures. Then the moment of truth comes- he congratulated us and requested me and my wife to sign in a piece of paper entitled Removal of Conditional Status and thats it. It took us about 45 mins from start to finish. And in my case it took 107 days from filing to approval. And it took less 2 weeks to received my green card. Good luck and just be honest in your interview.

My brother is filing for family based adjustment of status, him and his wife filed all the required forms at the same time and were told to submit more information on form I-864.The first I-864 did not meet the guidelines, therefore they used a joint sponsor.I reviewed their I-864 and the supporting documents and the sponsor mentioned that he had assets on part 7 but did not submit the proof. However is income is way over the poverty guidline,so my question is;will the uscis reject this form resulting to denial due to lack of proof of assets or they will just use his income and forget about the assets?

Anyone ever experienced this?please help with advice,my brother's worries has taken away his appetite to eat!

Im applying to get a green card throug marriage. My husband and I have been married for a year and a half, we know each other for more than 3 years. He had a previous marriage in 2004 and the divorce was made on 2008 but they were separated since 2005. My interview was yesterday and I though it will be easy , knowing that we've been together a long time and that we love each other but my experience was the opposite, the office was so rude and intimidating, he asked me how much I paid my husband to do this. like...wut the hell? he asked my husband how much he paid for his green card!!! My husband is a citizen now....like hello!!! someone else already did that case! he seemed to care more about my husband's exwife than seeing our pictures and talking to us. that was really insulting. we are good people, we are doing things right. I guess the guy didnt like the fact that we are hispanic. I dont know but It was the worst thing I ever experienced. he didnt aprove or denied, he told me to go online and check my status in a week.
