Thank you immihelp. I had downloaded all the questions and fabricated answers for the interview. My FIL,MIL Wife and I went for our US visa interview on 29th Jan at Mumbai. The interview took place 5 hrs after scheduled time. We had a jovial officer, Mr Carroll, who asked us very basic questions all of which were in the list of questions on your site. We are a family of doctors. He did not ask for any financial documents. He just raised concern as to who would look after our practice when we were on holiday. That too was in the list of questions.
It was cool. A family friend said that coincidentally on Thursday, 2 kitkit officers are off duty and so that is a good day to appear for interview.
All the best.

My Parents got the visa
Thanks to the immihelp. It was really very helpful to us taking each step and each word from immihelp, other than that would have been really messy and tension work.
My Parents had Interview in Telugu at Chennai Consulate on Jan 23rd at 9am.They went inside around 8.30 and back by 10Am and it was successful.
My Husband was the sponsorer and they just asked 3 questions as:
1. what does ur son-in-law do?
2. How many children do u have?
3. r u taking pension?(as my father is retired)
Both my father and mother answered spontaneously.
They did not look for any documents as we prepared 3 folders as Sponsor documents folder, Visitor documents folder and Visa Applications folder.
Thats it....they said they would send the passport and the visa to home in week time.
They got the visa for 10 years.
Thanks to everyone who helped us by giving answers to our questions in forum and thanks to immihelp again.

My parents got Visa
I would like to thank immihelp. I just followed whatever procedure for document preparation was given in this website for both sponsor and applicant. My husband was the sponsor in our case. My parents had land and home document and pension book. Interview was at Chennai 12 Noon today (1/21) and took them 2 hours. Interview was arranged with a Tamil interpretor. This is what I heard from my parents as questions asked:

They said 'vanakkam' to greet the officer.
Then they asked
1. How many children you have and where are they?
2. what are you doing now?
3. Do you own a house here?

Question to my mom:
Where is your son-in-law working?

That's all, they never asked for any documentation from my parents, they said the passport will come to them in a week's time.

Once again I want to thank immihelp was the step to step lucid explanation they have without which it would not have been this easy!
