I would like to thank all of the members shared there exp's.And great thank to GOD.

@ Chennai-8AM,I have reached exactly on 7.30 AM,I could have come out by 8.35.Just 2 mins of Discussion with VO.

VO: Howyour are specialized? Please explain in detail.
Me: Explained abt my company internal tool which is used for Framework Dev & for value added I have included the HP tool also. And exposed getting the Knowledge of Both the above tools within the company is rare. Bcoz only 30 ppl experise on the company internal tool. In this I am the only person working as Sr.Consultant. Added I explained I worked with the same above tool s with my previous assignment with Disney also.
(While explaining above those things my petition got sealed as “Approved”
VO: Good. What is your role
Me; Module Lead
VO: Client?
Me: YYYY (Just 1 line of introduction abt Lowe’s and abt the business expansion within the US)
VO: When you got married:
Me: Month-Date-Year. Should I need to show any supporting doc’s for this?
VO: Nope. Thanks. We will send your passport to your company address by 1 week.
(Received 2 copies of Approved I-129S from VO)

Once again thanks to all members.

Here are the questions to me

1. How many people report to me in offshore?
2. How many people will report to me in US?
3. Who is my supervisor in US?
4. What is the role of my supervisor in US?
5. Will the offshore people also report to me when I travel US?

My wife did not had any questions. Then VO handed over 2 forms to me and asked to me show it to the immigration officer during travel.

My overall interview lasted for 3 minutes and the Following are the questions were asked to me
VO: Which company are u working for?
me: ZZZ
VO:How long with the company?
me 4 yrs 7 mths
VO: Why are you going to US?
me: explained the purpose
VO: what is your project name ?
me : YYY
VO: what is the team size
me: In india 3 and in US 30
VO: Give the 3 sets of i129 carrying with you?
me : I gave the copies of i129 to him then he put a seal on it
 He returned the sealed i129s to me saying your application is approved and will send your passport through courier.

I believe being Confident and keeping eye contact is more important. There will be lot more people to guide you the counters. Pls reach consolate before 45 min of your interview time to keep you relax.Here are the questions which are asked to me.

1. Who is your client?
     ZZZ
2. Whats your Experiance?
     X years and Y Months
3. How long you are been working for this client?
     X years and Y months
4. Whats tour specialization?
      Prepare a shrt 3 sentence. They will interupt you with other question to see if your are struggling.
5. How many people you are supervising?
     I am leading a team og 4 members

She typed something in the system and made a seal in I-129S and told your Visa is approved and you will get the visa ina week.

I first of all wish you all the very best for your PA. I am sure you will get through, just be confident prepare well for simple questions.

As you know preparation builds confidence. Be confident while answering questions.

My visa PA was on 10th march at Hyderabad counsulate at 9.00AM. I have reached the place at 8.15 AM, Almost waited for an hour to get my turn for interview.

My interview went this way.

ME : GM sir
VO : Smiled

VO : Can I have your file
Me : Handed over the file

VO : Which location are you going in US
ME : XYZ (Be careful in pronouncing the location names )

VO: Can I have your other documents
ME : I have given him the other file.

VO: Who is your client?
ME : ZZZ

VO: How long are you with xxx company
Me : abc years

VO: What is that you are going to do in US?
Me : (Be confident and answer this carefully. My answer to this question was very convincing. )
If you answer this question well chances that you may not be asked the specialised knowledge question.

He then stamped my forms (I understood am through) and said golden words your visa is approved and passport will be couriered in 5 working days.

I started looking at posts in this site since i have submitted my stamping documents....
All post were really helpful and gave me an idea of what kind of questions will be asked....
These are questions which i faced....

VO: GM, How are you?
ME: GM, fine Thnq
VO: Experience with YYYY Company?
ME: Told about my experience with YYYY Company
VO: What is your specialized knowledge?
ME: Started with systems knowledge, YYYY proprietary tools, processes, methodologies....
VO: Why are you going for US?
ME: Told about my project and my importance to be there...
VO: Why you only?
ME: Stressed the importance my specialized skills which are used for the development of application for YYYY client
VO: What is the project for which you are going? What is it all about?
ME: Described about the project and benefits to the client by implementing the project
VO: Which state are you going to?
ME: Told the state in USA

VO: She was doing something on her system and stamped the papers which i gave....
Then came the words, Your visa is issued and you will receive your passport in 5 working days....

ME: Thank you...

Above everything was done in less than 2 minutes....for which i waited for nearly 2 hours....

Luck and VO plays a vital role in getting passport in addition to your preparation (about client, company working for, project)....

Be confident, answer straight forward to question, maintain good attitude....dont get tensed what ever the case is.....

- How long you are with this project
- In US , to whom you will report (shouldnt tell like.. i am going to report to client)
- Will he(manager) come back to India ?
You will get your passport with in one week time . your visa approved . Thanks.

Thats all . It took nearly 1 to 2 mins.

Myself and wife had to wait for nearly half an hour before the interview since there was some number mis match. the questions were straightforward.

-Why am I selected

To wife
-When was the marriage
-Photos

My visa got approved after this. Goodluck to all.

Then VO said, i am approving my visa, after that u couldn't hear anything.
