Regarding client letter
Hi Everyone..

My H1B Profile was processes with a small company which have development center in US. After approving the H1B now they are saying that they dont have client letter and project profile to give to me. Also they are saying if i need based on my risk i can go interview with inhouse project.

Is it advisable to go head and attend interview with inhouse project or do i need to wait for the client letter from company.

So can any one of you please advice me a solution to go confidietnly for Visa Interview.

Anybody got approval after 221g Admin Processing
Hi Users of this Forum,

Thanks to all the people who put there experiences in this forum. Its really helpfull to many i beleive.

It seems like many have been a victim of 221 Admin Processing case. I too am one among them. Been stuck in India because of this from past 3 months.
Is there any way to get a status of the case. On calling Chennai US Consolate Office, they just say its in Admin Processing . But do not give any more info.

Is there any one who got any approval or denial notice after being in this situation. If so how long did it take?

Plz share your experience on this Issue..

Successful h1b renewal visa experience in Mumbai US Consulate at BKC
This might be helpful for people who are interviewing in Mumbai US consulate in new building at BKC.

Make sure you reach on time before the interview. They don't allow you to stand there before 15 mins of your schedule.. It was bad experience to wait outside in the hot sunny weather. And outside they really don't treat you good, so much rush lot of parents waiting outside.

So be prepared for that.
Interview was running late they told us to stand outside in line at 10.15 since my interview was at 10.30

As soon as enter security was easy and passport collection was easy too.
Waiting area inside was awesome. The number were called very very quick, in 5-7 mins after collecting my passport the token was called.
The new system with token number appearing on window was awesome.

Since it was renewal, The interview went like this

VO: Good Morning, how are you doing?
Me: Good Morning office, I am doing fine, Thanks

VO: Pass your passport and I-797
Me: Passed

VO: (with smile) where do you work?
Me: XYZ company

VO: what is your job role?
Me: Told

VO: Asked some question specific to my job
Me: told

VO: ABC(old company), did you work here before?
Me: yes

VO: what is my salary?
Me: After hearing that he was smiling and made some wistle :-)

VO: Why did you travel to europe?
Me: Business trip

VO: which company
Me: told

visa approved
It was pretty quick as you might think so many question. It long last only for 30-40 seconds , none of the documents checked..

Hope this helps, questions are welcome.. Just be cool , everyone were getting visa easily and I thought it was effective this time.
Only bad one to say waiting outside and those mumbai police treating really bad and not allowing even stand around before 15 mins

No parking around btw and they won't allow any vehicle to wait till you come back.

my h1b experience
Hi,
Its my turn to write. Really i was very tensed before the interview. But it is totally not required. My case is direct offer from a big US product company. I already visited US once for a month on business visa. Here are the interview questions:
VO: Good morning
me: Good morning
passed the file
VO: How much is ur salary
me: xxx
VO: How long u r working with this company
me: New offer
VO: Did u visit US before
me: yes
VO: which visa
me: business visa
VO: what is ur highest qualification
me: masters in electrical engineering
VO: do u've I-129 and LCA
me: yes. and passed the same.
VO: checked them and said "I am approving your visa..... " looks like she said something afterwards.. really i couldn't here a word after approving.. :)
me: Thank you.

thats it. it was very simple. I observed all the Visa officers are very frinedly, looks like they just want to check whether it is good company and u've legitimate offer. Mostly they r asking point-point questions.. my interview was at 7:30am at chennai. Really 7.30am time is very good, everything is very fast, i am out by 8:15am.
