Bright futures scholarship for immigrant students in Florida
I wanted to share my experience as an E2 beneficiary visa holder in Florida. I entered college in the Fall of 2020 at USF. I was able to get in-state tuition and the full bright futures award (covers 100% of tuition) under my visa, but I had to get in contact with international admissions and financial aid many times to get it done. It would also likely be rescinded once I am out of the visa at 21. It is often written that “eligible non citizens” can get in-state and bright futures, but don’t define the term. Hope this helps!
