H1B, H4 Visa

Hi,

I have dropped my documents for H1B extension on oct 19 and i received a email on oct 24 to pick up my passport. I have picked my passport with a note to attend the interview. On oct 25 i have attend the interview and the questions were quite common such as salary, client, higher education. VO took couple of mins and gave my passport back with 221(g) white slip saying require admin processing to make a decision. On oct 29 th i have received the call from embassy saying to submit the documents to the email "[email protected]". I have emailed the documents but did not receive any automated email saying the documents are received. Do anyone know how long does it take to process and did any one received the automated email?

Any one in same boat?

I went for H1B interview on 10/8 to GDL consulate in Mexico. VO told me visa is approved and kept passport, no 221g slip was given to me, only a slip saying my visa was approved; but he told me it was going to take some time because of his system. Hours later I got an email with 20 questions which I replied same day, then they confirmed of received a day later. From that day I've been in AP.

I had an update on the CEAC on 10/24 (last thursday), it still says AP. Nothing after that.

Anyone under the same/similar situation?, today's it's 3 weeks from my interview, and I had seen that an update on the CEAC website, even if it still showed AP, would be a good sign and shortly after the visa would be issued. Any comments will be helpful.

I had an appointment in Hyderabad Consulate and the interview went well. Was asked few basic questions on employer, salary etc.
VO said it was approved but then she had issued a white slip(221g).
Later in the day received an email from the consulate asking for the below details.

Please send us a detailed outline of your stay in the U.S., what you did and under what visa category. This is required for further processing of your nonimmigrant visa case.

Did anyone had similar experiences? Appreciate your input.

I just received Approved I 797 approved date is oct 23rd, but validity end date is Sep 25th.
It means my I 94 is already expired before I got the approval notice and officer put in Pre Date than when he opened the file, previous I-797 Expired in June 2019, this is extension.

what options do I have ? anyone had similar experience. Appreciate any input.

Dear All,

I have H1B interview scheduled in November and this is the first time I am applying.
My VISA sponsor is a consulting company I have been working with for the past 3 years from offshore, and we work for multiple clients at a given time. Due to this my HR would not be providing any client letter but mention in the SOW names of the clients we work for.
I am reading in the forums that there are chances of rejections if client letter is not available.
Please let me know from your experiences what are the options I have and if I need to stress my company to get the client letters.

Has anyone been through H1B stamping dropbox option recently at Mumbai consulate? How was the experience?

I have mine scheduled for Dec 2nd and thinking if I should book my return flight with all the administrative hold these days.

I have always been a FTE, but changed the employer recently.

I have visa Interview scheduled in DEC for H1B stamping along with two dependents. I am filling DS-160 and I have a doubt in answering the question related to I-140. I see a question was asked to answer Yes or No for Immigratnt Visa applied before?. I had earlier F1 visa, and got my H1B in 2017. I worked as a contractor till March 2019 and then moved from the old employer to a new employer which is FT. My old employer revoked my I-140. It was approved in last November. What should I answer in DS-160 for that question. Old employer didn't even share any details to me.

I have upcoming H1B interview at Hyd consulate in November month. I have small question regarding mistake which i have done in DS 160 form.

Intially i applied for visa stamping in september month and i changed my plan and i rescheduled my interview in November, So i used same DS160 form for November Month but in meanwhile my employer gave hike and my salary is increased from xxx to yyy amount of dollars.

So, can anyone suggest me?

Do i have to fill new DS160 form or do i need to explain the VO properly. Please let me know.

I have completed my masters in information systems in the last year 2018. Currently, I am working as a software engineer through a third party at the client's location. My consultancy had filled my application in March this year but unfortunately, it didn't get through and got denied.

The reason why it got denied is ; when I applied for the h1bvisa I applied with the name of the CLIENT A in between of the H1B process my employment ended with CLIENT A (now I work with CLIENT B) and when they asked me in the RFE i have replied the name of the current client CLIENT B.As I have mentioned one name (CLIENT A) in the beginning and provided evidence of the other (CLIENT B ) it got denied. I have still a few more days to respond to the denial. Is anyone went through the same situation?

Does anyone had a similar experience?

I attended dropbox on 10/27 at Hyd. How long would it take for status to change to "Ready for pickup"?
I changed my employer last month and work in E-C model.

Any one in similar boat?
