Brother granted visa
My brother was granted visa yesterday (Sep 20th IST). He is working in Merchant Navy. I was concerned as he is young and single. But, i always thought the strong point in his case is that he has travelled to lot of countries on his voyage.
Here are the questions asked:
1. Who is sponsoring?
A. Sister
2. Where does your sister work?
A. xxx Company
3. Where does your sister live?
A. CA
After this, the VO looked at his passport and went inside. We guess that he verified the stampings in his passport as my brother has travelled to several countries on his voyage, even to the US.
The VO came back and said that "Visa is granted. You'll be receiving your passport within the next few days." He is yet to receive his passport and so the duration of visa is not known.
I'm so happy and thankful to this wonderful website, which is so helpful in every respect. This has helped a lot for my family's visas.
