Hi everyone,

First I would like to thank all of you for posting your experiences and comments, they really help a lot of us, that's why i feel the need to post my exprience to help others.
My case is marriage based and quiet unsual lol (mainly because of my mistake).
Got married in early 2015 but go a child by other women toward the end of 2015 (my mistake).
Filed I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131 in June of 2016
Interview scheduled for February 2017
Interview day: The officer was not nice and a little rude but I can understand why. She went straight to asking about me having a child with another woman and questioned if my marriage was real. Again understandable. The interview lasted about 20 minutes and gave us a letter that the case needs to be reviewed.
Haven't heard anything from them for months and we even moved a changed the address online.
In September of 2017 I did an info pass in Dallas (Irving) office to check on my case and I was told our case was denied because we didn't show up at the second interview. An interview that we never got the notice.

Fast forward to 2020.
Reapplied with my wife still PD August 2020
December 2020 EAD card approved and received.
Sept 2021 ready to schedule for interview.
Oct 14 2021 interview day in Dallas: The office was very nice and asked us normal interview questions and toward the end, he told us he has to ask about the child I had. My wife explained the situation to him and he seemed to really like talking to my wife because she isn't shy to say whatever is on her mind. Interview lasted about 25 minutes. We walked out of there feeling good. Plus we gave him all sorts of supporting evidences from mortgage papers, bank statements, tax returns, bills, credit cards, insurance to photos.
Oct 19 received a mail that we needed to go back for a second interview (the letter was dated Oct 15, one day after our first interview). So at this point we are a little down and expecting a stoke interview.
Nov 12, 2021 interview day at 8:00 am: the office called me first and went thru a lot of questions for about 1h30 minutes and then called my wife in. She was there for about 30 minutes. When he was walking my wife back in the lobby area, i heard them just laughing (remember I said he enjoyed talking to my wife). The office to us we should hear a decision next week.
But at exactly 2:00pm the same day got an email regarding my I-485 that card/document in production.

i know I wrote a lot but I'm here to answer any question. Hope this help.
