H1-B Stamping 221G Administrative Processing
Hi Everyone this is Teja. Just wanted to share my experience. Hope it might benefit anyone.
Oct 1st : Fingerprint
Oct 3rd : Visa Interview.
Received 221g white slip, VO told need time to review my H1-B petition and need 2 weeks of time.
Case updated on the site https://ceac.state.gov/ Administrative Processing.
Oct 15th : Last Updated Date is changed from Oct 3rd to Oct 15th.
Oct 30th : Received an email to come to Interview again on Nov 1st.
Nov 1st: There was an interview with a Federal Officer, and he said you are here because you were just shortlisted to check if your visa if Fraud or Valid. I said ok.
->Office Question to me like:
i. Who is your employer
ii. Client..?
iii. Salary...?
iv. Current Location..?
v. Previous Employer (I changed my employer).
vi. Ddi the employer pay for H1-B or you paid..?????
vii. Did you pay or did your employer asked you money for you to work with the current client..???
viii. All my pay stubs.
ix. Masters - University,Location,Address, When..?
x. Took my all documents.
xi. waited for long time and finally called and informed you can go for the day we will update.
Came Back home, No update on the site. Still says Oct 15th last updated date.
Nov 14th: Last Updated Date Changes to Nov14th.
Nov 15th: Issued.
Still waiting on the email or message to say "ready for pickup".
Total time was one and half month..!
