Requirements for re-entry to the US

I and my family are traveling to India for a short visit. We recently recd our green card.

I am assuming that our plastic cards is enough proof for us to travel back to the US. I believe we just have to show our plastic cards and passport to the Indian immigration officials.

Please let me know if there is anything else we need to show at Indian airport and at the port of entry in the US.

Green card and passport are the only things you need to show in India and in US to enter United States.

(Of course, you need airline tickets to travel!)
