H1B to L1

Hello:

Can anybody help.

i have a valid H1b visa stamped from a consultant in US. now my company in India wants to apply for a L1 Visa.If we apply for a L1 VISA will the H1B be cancelled.

Also if I apply for L1 will there be any risk of getting the VISA.

In most of the cases the H1B will be cancelled without prejudice.
