Hi,
I had a question about citizenship. I have been a permanent resident (green card holder) for 5 years. I had left the country for over 6 months, but less than a year. While I was out of the country I had an episode of depression (panic attack) and I needed to be medically treated, so therefore I was unable to leave the country(India) before I was fully treated. My question is now, can I apply for U.S. Citizenship? Please let me know.
