My fiance filed for me. At the interview I was asked to bring more correspondence from my side (221g). I took some more phone bills and some more e-mails and submitted it at New Delhi. At the suggestion of the lady at the window I submitted my passport and courier fees too. Although there is no fingerprints are done and have not heard any thing from the counselor. Does this sound familiar or is there something wrong with the picture? Please advice.

I suggest you get a lawyer because at this point, you are out of status. You can't adjust your status unless you file on grounds permitted by the USCIS. The most common grounds are employment or marriage.
