L2 - Period of authorized stay

Hi!

My spouse and myself entered USA on L1 and L2 visa respectively and currently have a valid I-94(Arrival and Departure Record). As per I-94, we are admitted till Aug 2008.

Should the my spouse, the L1 visa holder, leave USA before the expiry of the I-94(ie, before Aug 2008), can I continue to stay in USA till the expriy of the I-94, ie, till Aug 2008?

I would appreciate any information on this.

Hi
You will remain in legal status as long as the date mentioned on the I 94. Sufficient time before the expiry of the date mentioned on that, you should seek an extension of L1 through the company.
