Visting India during L1

Hi,
I'm in US on an L1 Visa and need to visit India for 2 weeks. My Visa is expired and I'm getting an appointment for Visa extension. My family will be staying here during the period I will be visiting India. As I have to retrun my I-94 while I go India, I'm wondering whether my family's L2 status will be legal. Any clarifications on this will be helpful.

Hi,
If your family's status had been legally extended, they do not have to worry. You need to get passport stamped only if happen to travel out of US, what i mean is you do not have to travel just to get the passports stamped.
