Hi,
My mom came to US in june 2005 and was planning to leave in Oct 2005 even though as per 1-94 she can stay till Dec 2005. But in Sep 2005 I had a surgery and Im supposed to be on bed rest for next 6months. We would like to extend my mom's visa for another 6months. Will my medical condition be a good reason to specify in the letter to consulate or should I just say that she wants to stay back for visiting other tourist places. A freind of mine says that specifying medical condition could be a problem. Can someone please advise.
