I would like to know how hard is it for an american citizen to marry a J1 visa holder?(2 year residencecy rule does not apply apply) The J1 holder is currently employed but can only work for 4 months on the J1 visa. She doesn't want to be out of work very long, after we marry and file for EAD and AOS will she have to wait many months for her work permit? Or will the work permit come before the AOS? I will be filing with the Vermont SC. Thanks
