Inquiring abt status of plastic card after CP

Hi guys,

If someone can shed somelight on the process after CP and stamp at POE I would appreciate it.

I found some information on this board about calling TSC for status. Does everyone have to call there or it depends on where you got your I-140 approved.

The process is that after your finger prints & signature are taken on the I89 card. They are sent to TSC for production of the Card ( If you enter from any of the airports but for the airports in California -- In which case its CSC)

You have to then call TSC & with your A# on you I551 stamp on your passport. They will assign a SRC # and you can follow the status once you have the SRC# ( Apparently you have to talk to an IIO to get the SRC#)

Note there has been many cases where SRC#,A# were neverfound by an IIO but suprisingly the Cards arrived in the mail -- So welcome back to the wonderful INS.
