I am in USA with a J1 visa (3 months ago), but now my mother who is american citizen is sick and I want to volutarely terminate my J1 status, because I have a relative petition for permanent residence (1-130) and I want to go back and take the permanente residence, my question is if I terminate now my J1 status, am I forced to stay in my home country for 2 years? (considering that I have been in USA just 3 months?)
Help me please!!! :(
