www.cic.gc.ca/english/ski...l-3-2.html (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/qual-3-2.html) this is the link which tells you what you need to prove you know the language. My problem is I'm not sure exactly how I go about writing that letter to them. What exactly do I mention in it?

If my wife files for Canadian Imm. as a primary applicant being on H4 visa in U.S, will it be beneficial for us because she was a Nurse in India and has also passed TOEFL and TSE exams, apart from passing the NCLEX nursing exam.

I believe she won't have to show any other proof if she submits her TOEFL/TSE results.

thanks

Its always a good idea to do TOEFL, and IELTS it for one leaves no reasonable doubt that you cannot speak english. and second of all its good for one when you do get landed status for potential employers.
I dont really know waht you can do to prove that you speak english, even by your writing it does seem a litte shaky. Maybe you can get a teacher of english to write a reference letter pertaining to your English abilities but if i were you id suck it up and take the IELTS
