My child is 4 years now and he is born in the US. We plan to go to India in 2005. So, when my son ages 21 years can he file for a GC for his parents and sister who already have GCs approved in 2004. My question is : can he file for our GCs even while staying in India and can he sponsor his sister who will be 26 by then and probably married (Hypothetical question). Roughly what will be the timeline for such GC processing to be approved and completed.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi,
I have a daughter born here, so she is US citizen by birth. And both parents have GC. I heard that if your child is US citizen by birth, there is a way you can expedite your Citizen process in short you don't have to wait for 5 yrs after GC.
Doesn anybody know about it in more detail...and where can the details be found.
Thanks and have great holidays

There is no such thing.
You have to wait for 5 years for GC (Unless you got GC through marriage to US citizen, it is 3 years in that case.)
You don't get any benefit just because your child is US citizen.
