Hi,
I was wondering if there is any specific "best" time of the year to apply for OPT? I have a job offer and my OPT starts in Jan-end. But my graduation date has been post poned to sometime in March. I guess my employer will be applying for H1-B from the Master's quota. And just now I read a new article saying that only 1300 H1-B visas in the Master's quota remain for the fiscal year 2006.
My question is can one apply for H1-B anytime before the expiry of OPT?
