Visitor Visa (B2) Extention

Hi,
I am planning to extend my Mother-In-Laws Visa as the current Visa is in my co-brother's name but she is with us in this visit.Is it ok if I give the I-134 for visa extension?

Also, This is her 3rd visit and applying for an extension first time.
we are planning to extend for 6 months, is that OK or does she have better chance of getting approved if we ask for 4 months?

She has more chance to get an extension as long as the original sponsor file it with proper supporting reason.

It is always better not to extend any visitor visit un less absolute necessary. Also best for the original sponser to send the docs again.
