I am concerned about the I 134 document. I am the USC and my fiance is in Algeria. We have just sent our K-1 petiton to TSC. I worked as a RN until I had an accident 5 years ago and seriously injured my back. I get Social Security disability benifits. I have a son that is 13 years old. I get a check in his name also. Both checks are direct deposited into my checking account. and total about 1700 dollars a month. I control how they are spent. (ie.. bills, rent, food, clothes) Plus I get 350 dollars child support a month which is court ordered and collected by the employer of my ex husband and sent to me every month. He was the one that wanted the withholding order so he would not have to deal with getting the child support to me. He has been employed at the same company for 25 years. The question I have is, will this be sufficient to show that I am above poverty level? Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you so much for your reply. Maybe I should have made my question more clear. I know about the povery quidelines. What i need to know is, will the Embassy take into consideration the money that i recieve in my son's name from social security? and will they consider court ordered Child support as part of my total income? Thanks again for the help. Meriem

Income is income. You can include all your income.
