Hello,
I have filed for wife's citizenship. We had competed every steps upto Fingerprinting. But, after fingerprinting we had not recieved any letter from USCIS. After visiting the Chicago office they tell us that the case have been CLOSED. I asked why and they told me because that we did not appear for the interview.
Now, the thing is that we have never recieved any mail. What if the mailman missplaced our mail? Please suggest what can I do? They told me that I can write to the office and ask them REOPEN the case.
Can someone please share some info. on what I can do and how long the procedure takes?
