For those wearing prescriptive glasses do we need to take photos with the glasses or or without the glasses. IS there any specific requirement ?
Thanks in advance

xorbit123,
It depends. If you are always wearing the glasses, then you need to have the photograph taken with the glasses. But if you use the glasses only while reading, then I would advise that you should take photos without the glasses.
The point is if you can go to the consulate without glasses, then you need not have the photos taken with the glasses on.
Again, this is my personal opinion. Have a second opinion in this regard.

I wear prescriptive glasses and at "My own studio" he asked me to remove the glasses. Since the owner is too familiar with the consulate rules, I would tend to think that you have to take your immigration picture without your glasses.

Thanks immihelp and others for your replies.
Also one more question -does it matter through which port you enter in the US as far as the processing time for the plastic card is concerned.
Since all the cards come from Texas Am I right in assuming that the port of entry does not matter ??
TIA

Though a lot of people suggest not to wear glasses. It just might be a great idea to get a couple of photographs with your glasses on to so in case they flinch at the consulate you'll have all bases covered.

Maybe take one doz. photos without glasses and keep an ink pen ready to draw the frame around your eyes if they want photos with glasses?
OR, My fish also wears glasses, those could be stuck to the photo.
Maybe dark glasses?
Come on!! Can you not get yourself clicked with AND without glasses?
Good Luck and don't get paranoid, just enjoy the experience!
