What is the deal with medical tests if your wife is pregnant. We might be in that situation (still haven't got a case number or interview date). Since she should be injected/eating any medicines whatsoever + no xrays.
Anybody?

All applicants need to go for the medical. If the applicant is pregnant, the doctor will know what to do or what not to do. If they skip any tests or vaccinations due to the pregnancy they just make a note of it on the medical reports, something like - unable to perform test or administer vaccination due to pregnancy. This is not at all considered a negative and I don't think they ask you to take those tests or vacciniations at a later date.
In short, your wife needs to go for the medical. Make sure that the doc/nurse is aware of her condition.
Same goes for nursing mothers.
Hope that helps.

Carry [if you have] something from her doctor here to show she is pregnent. Don't worry.

I read an article somewhere(maybe the DOS web site). If my memory serves me well, it says the pregant woman's visa will be marked as certain condition and the test such as X-ray should be taken within the certain period of the GC port entry.
Check with the consulate, they should be able to supply you the offical medical requirement for a pregnant woman.
Good luck and have a nice baby.
