BC Format

Hi!
What information should a Birth Certificate contain, Should a BC contain Fathers First Middle and Last Name, should it contain the same info for Mother. OR is it ok to just have the First name of Father and first name of Mother and yes my First name and DOB. Does the BC need to be typed, the one I got from the local office in Mumbai is not typed, however it contains a registration number?

Whether last name is there in birth certificate for father, mother etc or not all that depends upon the local customs from where you are getting it.

Many people in South India don't put their last name but either father's name or husband's name in place of last name. You see what I am saying. There are lots of naming conventions in India.
