Hi

I have a somewhat basic question but would appreciate a confirmation.

If one wants to do an attorney certified 140, after I140 approval, who needs to certify the I140 application papers?
Can any attorney do it or does it have be certified by the attorney that filed the I140?

thanks

Any Attorney can do it.

The answer is a YES and a NO.

There is no rule limiting you to get the paperwork certified by a particular attorney. However, by law (i suppose) only the attorney who has seen the original can certify a copy (for any document). The original offcourse is no more with you as it was submitted to TSC/VSC/CSC.

Also, it is very easy for someone to figure this out because your I-140 petition will have someone elses signature and the certification will be done by someone else.
