My 8th year H1 extension has been filed before the expiry date on my I-94. However my wife's H4 extension was not filed due to mis communication from the lawyer. Found out today from lawyer that this poses a problem.
What are our options in this situation? Please provide all options with their pros and cons? Under what circumstances would my wife's H4 be extended?
What additional documention may be needed?
