My attorney is pissed off with me, for sending the Pkt3 to the Consulate on my own and not through their office. Can he screw my case in any manner?Will I be needing their help in my case in future?

Such attorneys should be sued. They play with our future.
You can change yourt attorney now also. Catch some good one, It will be worth the investment.

There is no way he can screw-up your case as long as you are not doing any type of fraud with regards to your application.

He cannot screw you in any way.
You can fire him any time and ask him to return all your documents if you feel he is sitting and hatching eggs on your case.
Most of the time you don't need these damn paper pushers. The only time you need one is when INS begins to screw with your case and you need legal representation. Sadly most of these guys cannot help at that time because all they know is to fill forms collect your money and take it easy.
