Hello

I have received a confirmation of for my Permanent Residence Letter in Canada where i currently work . The next step requires me to go to the Border and apply for my PR Card . Can i just go to the Canadian Border (say Near Niagra Falls) and apply for a card or do i need to actually drive into US which will require a Visa and then turn around and enter Canada to apply for the card ? .

Any input is appreciated .

Thanks

Hi Dear,
as per my knowledge, If you are in canada you dont need to go to the nearest border, you can go to local immigration office and apply for your PR Card. When i became PR i was student in Canada and i went to Toronto CIC office which is in downtown and applied for PRC.
Thanks
