I am about to hire a immigration lawyer to help me out with my employment based green card application. He is charging me $6000 for his services. Is that normal?

Hi there
I suggest u log in to usic.gov for paperwork documents. or fix a appointment with infopass at your nearest immigration offfice and spk to an officer. They will hand u a list of documents require. Its much much cheaper that way.

That sounds way too high. I've heard numbers from other people from $1000-$2500. We paid $2000. You can get alot of the docs you need online, fill them out and file yourself if you want
I would look for another lawyer. That is unless you have special circumstances, like your a convict or something, then it might be worth it.
