Effect of family-sponsored petition on I-140 application

Hi everyone! Would like to ask if a previously filed immigrant visa petition (family-sponsored) has an effect in the approval of I-140.

There is a question on Part 4, #6 of I-140: "Has any immigrant visa petition ever been filed by or on behalf of this person?" --> This is 'yes' for me. Unfortunate or not?

I'm a nurse in the Philippines seeking for employment in the US. I have a pending petition from my mother in the US. (She has immigrant status only.)
Would this affect my I-140 application?

My cousin had the same situation as yours,and it affected her pending petition from her parents. What she did,she just waited for her petition.
