First three letters in the Receipt number

What does the first three digits represent in the N-400 receipt number? The reason I am asking this because I see all the Receipt numbers (applied in California, employment based) starts with WAC in the Citizenship tracker.

I also applied in California (got greencard based on employment), but my receipt number starts with WSC.

Do you know what WAC or WSC represents or stands for?

WAC or WSC stands for California service center.

Whether it is WAC or WSC, it does not matter. I have also see ESC now a days in Vermont center instead of EAC.
