O.C.I - drawbacks ?

Hi All:

I am planning to apply OCI for my kid, who born in USA. Will she gets any any problems in future if she gets OCI? like her american citizenship, her education and rights in usa and other matters..

Since, it very new to us (indians) i am little bit confusion about this? Pls share your ideas about this...

There are really no drawbacks. Only thing I know is that if you get arrested or get into big trouble in India while on OCI, you will be tried as an Indian citizen, and there won't be any US embassy or anyone else to help you.
