Photo background for OCI

Need to know if White background is fine with the Photos on OCI application?
Most of the stores do photos on the white background, so not sure if OCI has specific requirement?

It is very weird. But they don't accept white background.

I have called the embassy several times and confirmed that white background is NO good.

You will have to search around a lot for a dark background photo, such as light blue, red etc.
