Regarding H4 Visa for my Wife

Hi ,
I am having a valid I -797 H1b approval . Right now i am in USA working for a company and i need to call my wife. By producing my I 797 , and my offer letter from the company i work, can my wife get her H4 visa stamped or do i need to go for stamping to canada . Is it compulsory that i need to go for stamping
for my wife to come to USA or can she show my I797 , Pay stubs and offer letter and get her visa stamped . Please let me know

where is she?? is she in india?

if she is in india then she needs to go to Indian consulate with prior appointment.
after she is given date for interview (remember she needs to carry marriage and other documents), her interview will b conducted by consulate and then H4 will b stamped.
