What is the Indian population in the US doing about that Allen fiasco in Virginia?.........( the racial comments made against that American of Indian descent college student)
I see a lot of posts about writiing senators and Congressmen and women about visa refusals. This is a far more important issue one would think

well, we fall under an entirely different category. He's a US citizen while the rest of us are on non immigrant visas. Non immigrants dont have much say here. Just gotta keep quiet and suffer silently. If I were him I would file a lawsuit against the senator.

I disagree ....why would you need to "suffer silently" because youre not a citizen? You pay taxes , no?......you can even write or call anonymously. Its not ofetn on eis presented with an opportunity to make a difference and when that opportunity comes, it should be seized. Its things lik ethis and how th epublic reacts that dictates whether or not it happens again

The whole 'macaca' issue stinks. Sadly, I feel this too will be forgotten/ forgiven like when Hilary Clinton called Mahatma Gandhi a gas station worker and Joe Biden's remarks about not being able to walk into a 7-11 without a slight Indian accent.

Yes, we do pay taxes. But nowadays its better to be illegal and not pay taxes. That way we can get a citizenship easily.
