Regarding B1 visa with H1b stamped

Hello

I am having H1b visa stamped in my passport last month.i wann to travel to US in Jan-2007.But My present employer in india wants me to go US on B1.I am not having B1 visa.


IF i go for B1 VISA to consulate will they cancel my H1b which is existing in my passport.Pls let me know asap.If they cancell i will attebd for B1 visa
