Hi,
I applied for six month extension for my month and it got approved when I checked status online recently. However, the approval notice was returned by the post office. I called the customer service number to verify the mailing address, which was correct. I asked them to resend the approval notice.
Today, I got a letter from VSC asking me to file I-824 for a duplicate approval notice. I have to pay $200 and the processing time is six months!
Anyway I can ask them to resend the original notice? Really appreciate your help.
