My parents are visiting USA to stay with me (in tourist visa) and visit some places here. they also want to go to France to visit my sister on their way back home. Can we apply Schengen Visa for them here in SFO, provided my sister send supporting documents?
Thanks.

It is possible to apply for Schengen visa from US. However, if the person is in US on B1/B2 visa, it would take longer and the person would have to go through more scrutiny to get the visa.

Hello,
it's obvious that you can apply for Schengen visa in your country. Pay attention to this:The French Embassy NO LONGER allows agents to lodge Schengen visa applications on behalf of Spouses of EU Nationals (includes British) - The Embassy now requires that the applicant applies in person along with their partner. We can no longer submit applications where the applicant has been previously turned down by the embassy in person; We cannot lodge applications if the applicant's passport shows that they have in the past initially travelled on a French Scengen visa without treating France as their main destination.
