My mom had been in the US on threee different occasions. We appliled for her extension before her i94 expired and received a letter 2 months later saying it was denied.

I have heard that the visa is also cancelled or that she will be allowed with the same 10 year old visa - which expires in 2010.

any advice please

Visa is void now.

She will have to apply all over again.

A friend of mine mom in law had a same issue- however when she arrived in the US on her old visa- they questioned her and then gave her a 6 months visit .

Has anyone else had experience with this..

The idea that the VISA is just VOID seems to be a theoretical one and not in practice.. Also my mom is not from India.
