Status Information!!

Okay, so i have been waiting forever for my citizenship. I called USCIS and was transferred to speak to someone else because my application information never comes up on the internet or by phone.sHe was very nice and she told me that they would do a service check with the FBI for me, she also gave me information on who to write to get things going. For all who filed at the Vermont service center and have been waiting a long time, you can write to

USINS VERMONT SERVICE CENTER
ATTN: N400 SUPERVISOR.
75 LOWER WELDON STREET
ST.ALBANS VERMONT, 0549-0001.

While it may not speed up my case at all, it makes me atleast feel like i have done something. I will let you all know how it turns out.

I have the same situation like you. I have been calling USCIS and every time I get the same answer that case is under processing for Background Check. Please let me know what specifically they have advised you.

Please share your experience with me and then hopefully, I will go the same way too.

I will be sure to do that. How long have you been waiting? I filed my application since March 2005. It is frustrating and now i have to go home cause i wanted to get my fiance here on a fiance visa but it's going ot be 2 years since we have seen each other in January.

When you called were they able to give you status on the phone? If not they will transfer you to an officer. Officers have more access to your case. Atleast that what i was told. I don't know if it will speed things up but I hope so. SHe said i should expect to here something about the service check within 4 weeks.
