Help to decide on GC processing

Hi

I need help on deciding on starting my greencard process. Here are my two options.

option1: Start greencard process in EB2 category right away through my employer.
option2: Start greencard process through my wife who will clear the physical therapist exam.

Could someone help me out which option is best because schedule A is also retrogressed. Is there any chance sometime in this year that schedule A visa numbers will be available.

Any help greatly appreciated.
