Need info on B1/B2 and H4 Visa

Hi Friends,

Please help if anyone knows abt this issue. My wife and myself got a H1 and H4 stamping last month valid for 3 years. Before that she already has a valid B1/B2 visa stamped last year which is valid for 10 years. The B1/B2 visa was not cancelled when she got a H4 visa.

Now at the POE, which visa will be considered and will it pose any problem ?

How will the B1/B2 visa get cancelled as she plans to resign currently from her job in india and travel to US on a H4 ?

No problems.
Her B1/b2 will not be cancelled if she resigns her job. It can be used
independently of her job even if she got it while on that job.

She will be asked the purpose of visit at entry. She should tell the officer
she is coming as a dependent of her husband on H-1 and show the officer the H-4 visa page. Make sure her I-94 card gets the H-4 stamp.
